Meet Dave
My name is Dave Carpenter. I started my Real Estate career in 1986 and received my Broker's License in 1989. In 1995, I purchased the office formerly known as Carpenter-Ellis Real Estate in Indian River. My wife and I ran the office until 2016 when we sold and merged with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Michigan Real Estate.
I have teamed up with Walt Ellis, who has been with my company since 1999 and has been selling real estate since 1978. Together, Walt and I have over 78 years of experience. We consistently sell over 14 million dollars of real estate per year.
My wife Denise and I have been married for 46 years and have two wonderful children and three adorable grandchildren. Denise and I love the outdoors and love to hunt, fish, and enjoy time with our grandkids. We are very active in the community and are members of the Indian River United Methodist Church where I am the head trustee.
I have been a member of the Tuscarora Township Fire Department for 40 years and have been the Fire Chief for 20.
